I am passionate about using social media to build community and to demonstrate the relevance and diversity of the humanities to a wider audience.
I got my start using social media for scholarly public engagement while working as a Teaching Assistant and completing my MA degree in Classics. I have been the Social Media Coordinator for Brock’s Faculty of Humanities since 2016, developing and implementing the Faculty’s social media strategy and finding new and creative ways to build online community.
I am also the co-creator and co-host with Darrin Sunstrum of MythTake, a podcast that explores the primary sources and themes of Greek mythology in the ancient world and today.
My creative work includes painting in both oils and acrylics, print making, textiles, and photography.
